Independence Caucus members were taught by Jason Chaffetz in 2008 how to replace a 6 term compromised incumbent while being outspent 6 to 1. Our mentor, Jason Chaffetz, has been interviewed by Neil Cavuto and found to be a man of his word:

1. GOP putting in pork
2. Returning to conservative principles
3. Energy & Spending plus his (our) campaign
4. Spending $billions$ not the answer

After Chaffetz was elected in 2008, several volunteers from his campaign launched the Independence Caucus nationwide efforts to teach others what we learned from Chaffetz so you can find and elect equally good and principled representatives in your own neck of the woods.

In our first Nationwide efforts we succeeded in vetting over 400 Candidates and endorsing 90.  We can now state that there are 13 Federal iCaucus endorsed representative in D.C. standing on the Principles they committed to during their iCaucus vetting.  We have 27 State respresentives, and 5 local iCaucus endorsed Government officials.  The method is proven, and when citizens get involved in the process YOU do make a difference.
