It is hard to understand how a country where freedom has always been so sacred to our population, so central to our existence as a people, could be in such danger. Why are so many of its providentially privileged individuals still sitting by so quietly while such a haughty, disingenuous individual as Barak H. Obama commits one act of tyranny after another.
Here is a man, who plays at president of the once greatest country in the world, by has apologized to every enemy we have for what he imagined to be our greatest transgressions. He followed by spending this country into the deepest debt in history and bringing it to the brink of bankruptcy. He then instituted the most egregious entitlement on this crippled economy in our history with the Affordable Care Act, affectionately called Obama Care by his political opponents.
Obama hasn’t stopped delivering humiliating and conceivably treasonous acts with those violations against the United States of America. He isn’t satisfied with destroying its place in the stability of the world as a whole, its economy, and adding insult to injury by crippling the ability of future American generations to heal from his destructive presidency. During this final year of his first and, God willing, last term in office, Obama has gone on to completely neuter Congress and deem it unnecessary, not once but repeatedly. Recently, like the tyrants that he seems to admire, he declared that if Congress wasn’t going to act he would have to, thus proving once again that he feels no obligation to ‘rule’ within the constraints of our Constitution.
Within the past few months, Obama and his administration have managed to rewrite a number of policies that fall within the prevue of the Congress of the United States of America. Without consulting even their own party in Congress, they have changed immigration policy, education policy, and energy policy. Now, Obama’s Department of Health and Human Services has gutted a highly successful welfare reform law signed by democratic President Bill Clinton in 1996. Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) replaced Aid to Families with Dependent Children, making it a requirement for able-bodied adults to work as a condition of receiving welfare aid.
Not anymore! As of Thursday, HHS released an official policy directive that it is no longer a requirement that adults receiving welfare need to look for work, effectively assuring that a growing body of individuals on the welfare role will remain faithful to Obama in the upcoming election. This act was a deliberate slap in the face of the former democratic president, as well as the equivalent of giving an irreverent hand signal to Congress and the Constitution once again.
We have more than enough proof that this president holds little regard for Americans, our country, and our Constitution. It is hard to believe that there are yet citizens of our country who don’t believe that Obama and his administration are on a road to destroy our country. It is hard to believe that there aren’t citizens on every corner of every street in America decrying the damages done to our once great country. It is hard to believe that there aren’t more parents fighting for their children’s education and futures. It is hard to believe that once productive people are willing and happy to become slaves of a welfare system. Even apparently smart, educated citizens continue to get their news from media outlets pandering propaganda for the administration, or worse yet, comedians satirically representing the news, ensuring that they remain clueless as to the real condition of the American situation.
Millions of Americans are awake, but they just don’t know what to do to change the political tide sweeping in on them. If you are awake, it is time for you to wake your neighbors! Its time to hold community meetings to talk about the state of our country. Yet, that is not enough! Its time to take action. We have very little time to save this country from sure and permanent tyranny. The only way to do that is by joining with others to take positive action. We should be angry enough to get involved!
iCaucus has been working hard for two election cycles now to turn this political boat around. There are really dedicated people working at all hours of the day to vet and endorse fiscally responsible and constitutionally grounded candidates, but we need more help. We need talented people with technical ability to help with our website. We need talented persuasive writers who believe in the future of this country to help us tell the stories of our endorsed candidates and educate the populace.
If you care about the outcome of the 2012 national and state elections, you have one of these talents, and you have a few hours each week to help us work a miracle in a little more than three months, please contact us as soon as possible. Your help could mean the difference between living in freedom or living in economic slavery to a voracious political machine. Just tell us what you can do and how much time you have to offer. We will get you started and help you be successful.

You, too, can become part of the solution.

The accumulation of all powers, legislative, executive, and judiciary, in the same hands, whether of one, a few, or many, and whether hereditary, self-appointed, or elected, may justly be pronounced the very definition of tyranny. --James Madison
