 Ken Gosselin

CQQ score: 98%

Ken Gosselin has a proven judicial record for both fairness and for the aggressive enforcement of the law to protect our citizens. For nearly three-quarters of a decade, Ken has been a tough but fair volunteer Judge “pro tem” in thousands of criminal and civil cases assigned by the San Diego County Superior Court.  Ken received his legal education from the University of LaVerne College of Law and he is a Harvard Law School trained mediator.

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Ken was employed by the FBI, the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office, and for nearly a decade he was a single parent of his special needs son.    As a lawyer, Ken devoted his law practice to real estate cases and he worked as special counsel in matters related to Vatican-owned real estate.

Ken is an alumnus of the Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr. College of Trial Advocacy, the Welsh College of Trial Advocacy, and in 2008 he was appointed as a “Special Master” by the San Diego County Superior Court.   Ken is a volunteer legal advisor to Oceanside High School’s Academy of Justice and to Logan’s Friends, a firm that represents the legal interests of parents with autistic children.  Ken was a volunteer community relations speaker and award winning “Super Donor” for the San Diego County Blood Bank.

    Official response from Ken Gosselin:

    “Dr Guffanti
There have been no debates in my judicial race. This is actually very common in judicial races. Judicial candidates are typically counseled resist debates because of ethical limitations that restrict what a judicial candidate can and cannot say about pending matters that "might’ before the court. "

Your opponent seems to have engaged in a series of frivolous lawsuits that are designed to both drain your campaign of needed funds and smear your name. At the same time he avoids any possibility of a debate. Have I missed a debate between you two or has he been a consistent “no show?”

At the conclusion of the conference period, everyone will receive a link to the ballot of whether to endorse or not to endorse. Please feel free to ask any questions for the candidate and/or post factual information in favor of or against the candidate. This is the time to learn as much as we possibly can about each candidate. Thank you all for participating!
